As of December, children must be accompanied

Dear customers,

Please note that as of December 1, 2025, children aged 12 and under must be accompanied when traveling on our buses, regardless of their departure point or destination. Youth aged 13 and over may still travel alone. To accompany a child aged 12 or under, the accompanying person must be at least 14 years old.

Limocar is following the example of most intercity carriers in Quebec, which have already discontinued the option for children to travel alone (even with an authorization form).

Please note that proof of age may be required upon purchase and/or boarding to verify a child’s eligibility. Failure to provide a valid ID could result in boarding refusal without refund.

If you already have your adult, student, or Club 60 ticket and wish to purchase your child’s ticket separately, this purchase must be made at an agency.

Unaccompanied children will continue to be accepted under the current rules (see the Traveler’s Guide) until November 30.
