Limocar is committed to keeping all personal information it collects secure. In addition, we are commited to take appropriate precautions to protect it against loss, fraud or unwanted use.

We limit access to your personal information. Only those employees who need to process your personal information in order to perform their duties have access to it. They only have access to the information they need to perform their duties.

We have established the roles and responsibilities of our employees throughout the processing cycle of your personal information, from collection to destruction. These roles and responsibilities are described in our Privacy Governance Framework. We regularly review and update them.

Where is your personal information stored?

We usually store your personal information in Quebec and Ontario. Occasionally, we may disclose your personal information outside Quebec or your province of residence (when we do business with a service provider).

In such cases, your personal information is also subject to the laws of that province or other location.

Before disclosing your personal information, we take protective measures. We also sign a contract or agreement that includes appropriate security measures for the information disclosed.

How do we keep your personal information?

We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. Even if you no longer have a relationship with us, we must retain your personal information for a certain period of time in order to meet our legal retention obligations. While we retain it, we continue to protect your personal information and ensure its confidentiality.
